About Sage RX and these terms
Sage RX is a financial-intelligence and business-learning service offered under the Sage RX Limited name, with a business location reference in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the website, business workspaces, financial-recordkeeping tools and included membership activities.
Sage RX helps users understand the records they supply. It is not a bank, mobile-money wallet, payment remittance service or custodian of customers' business funds. Subscription checkout, when available, is processed separately through Paystack.
For questions about these terms, email hello@sage-rx.com or call +254 723 158 920. This document is supplemented by our Privacy Policy and published Billing Policy.
Accounts and business authorization
You must be legally able to agree to these terms and be authorized to create or administer a workspace on behalf of any business you represent. You are responsible for using accurate account information and for your own sign-in credentials.
Workspace administrators should grant access only to people who need it, choose appropriate permissions and remove access when team members leave. Users must not attempt to access another business's records or impersonate other people.
Your business records and account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, ownership and lawful use of the transactions, budgets, contacts, invoices, bills, categories and CSV data that you or your authorized team enter or import. Review imported entries before saving them and keep your own originals when needed.
The figures displayed by Sage RX are based on your recorded information; they are not automatically verified against bank or M-PESA balances. You retain responsibility for business decisions, taxes, accounting, legal compliance and independent financial checks. Sage RX does not promise that a record is complete or free from omission.
Educational guidance and forecasts
Money Story, Ask Sage and Red Flag Radar help interpret recorded information. AI explanations, alerts and 14-day projections are educational decision-support outputs, not promises about future cash flow, accounting audits, professional financial advice, investment recommendations or guaranteed business results.
Forecasts depend on available history and assumptions, and may not appear when the records do not support them. Do not rely on an estimate as the sole basis for an important financial, tax, borrowing or investment decision.
Plans, limits and membership
Sage RX offers Starter, Growth, Pro and Premium plans, with monthly or annual periods and different limits for workspace seats, monthly AI messages and CSV imports. The limits and prices available when you select a plan are displayed in the application and its Pricing page. Where shown, listed prices are presented in Kenyan shillings with the checkout disclosure 'VAT inclusive (16%)'.
Paid subscriptions include access to applicable entrepreneur-community, masterclass, workshop and group advisory activities. Events depend on scheduling, facilitator availability and reasonable capacity; individual one-to-one professional services are not automatically included. Shared workspace allowances apply across authorized members.
Seven-day trial — no automatic payment
An eligible business can select a Sage RX plan and start a seven-day trial after registration and workspace setup. No bank card or M-PESA payment authorization is needed to begin the trial. One introductory trial is intended per eligible business.
There is no automatic trial-to-paid conversion. Sage RX does not charge your account during the trial or at its expiry merely because you started a trial. To continue with paid access, you must choose a paid subscription and authorize payment separately.
Paid checkout, renewals and cancellation
Paid access begins only after you approve the checkout and a payment has been verified by Sage RX through Paystack. The application displays your plan, period and amount before you authorize the transaction. You should never share an M-PESA PIN, password or complete card number with Sage RX support.
The current Sage RX version does not automatically renew M-PESA or card subscriptions. A fresh, customer-authorized payment is required for each new paid term. Cancelling paid service normally preserves access through the already-paid period; once that period ends, access may be limited under the applicable account-expiry process.
If a payment is missing, unsuccessful or disputed, the relevant paid feature may remain unavailable pending verification or review. If a checkout is interrupted, a browser success/return page alone is not proof of payment. See the published Billing Policy for current payment disclosures.
Receipts, refunds and disputes
A receipt is made available after successful server-side payment verification. To report a duplicate charge, billing error, failed transaction or refund request, contact hello@sage-rx.com with your account email, a transaction date and the short payment reference shown in Sage RX. Do not send passwords or card credentials.
Refund requests and payment disputes are evaluated under applicable Kenyan consumer law, the circumstances of the transaction and any relevant payment-provider rules. Submission of a refund request does not automatically establish that a refund is due, and these terms do not remove legal rights you may have.
Privacy, data access and account closure
The Privacy Policy explains our treatment of account and financial information and how to request access, correction or deletion. Authorized users can request applicable record exports or account-data reviews; some actions require identity and workspace-ownership verification.
Cancellation and account closure do not necessarily result in immediate deletion. Records may need to remain available during an applicable paid period, account-recovery window, security investigation, dispute, legal obligation or backup retention period. We will review requests under the Privacy Policy rather than promise immediate irreversible deletion.
Acceptable use and service operation
Do not use Sage RX to gain unauthorized access to records, distribute malicious files, upload information you have no right to process, interfere with security controls, exploit billing or usage limits, automate abusive activity, or make unlawful use of the service.
We may limit functionality or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address material breaches, protect users, comply with law or investigate a security issue. We may also perform maintenance or rely on external hosting, email, AI and payment services. We aim to communicate significant service disruptions where practicable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Software, changes and applicable law
Sage RX and its licensors retain rights in the software, branding, documentation and interface, while you and the relevant business retain rights in the information you lawfully provide. You receive permission to use the service while you comply with these terms and hold the appropriate access entitlement.
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be described or notified as required; the latest version and its effective date will appear on this page. The service is offered from Kenya and these terms are interpreted under applicable Kenyan law, without limiting rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful. If there is a disagreement, contact our support team first so we can investigate and work toward a practical resolution.
